Register for the 7th MRC Graduate Symposium until May 21, 2012!

The Materials Research Center will again award a prize to the best materials-related PhD thesis of ETH Zurich with potential for or impact on applications. The competition is open to graduates who have received a PhD from ETH Zurich between Jan 2011 and Jan 2012.
The jury of experts from academica and industry has selected the following candidates for the shortlist:
- Dr. Matthias Fuhr, Computational Physics, D-BAUG
- Dr. Henning Galinski, Nonmetallic Inorganic Materials, D-MATL
- Dr. Orane Guillaume-Gentil, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, D-ITET
- Dr. Georgios Sotiriou, Particle Technology Laboratory, D-MAVT
- Dr. Haifeng Sun, Millimeter-Wave Electronics, D-ITET
- Dr. Joanna Wong, Structure Technologies, D-MAVT
The nominees will present their findings to a jury of experts from academia and industry and a general audience on the occasion of the 7th MRC
Graduate Symposium. The presentations will take place:
- Thursday, June 7, 2012,
- 3:00 pm
- at HG E 5 (Rämistrasse 101, ETH Zurich)
