MRC Graduate Symposium & Awarding of the MRC Prize 2012

This year's MRC Graduate Symposium will take place on June 7, 2012 (all day) at ETH Zürich.

Locations:

Oral presentations:
HG E 5
Poster Presentations: HG main hall (E-floor)
Dinner: StuZ2

Program:

Scientific program (9 am - 3 pm)

PhD students and PostDocs working in the field of materials are invited to submit a contribution (oral presentation (15min + 5min discussion) or poster). All topics related to materials are most welcome. MRC sponsors a poster prize of 500 CHF. The program is now available.

MRC Prize (3:30 pm - 5 pm)

The nominees for the MRC Prize will present their PhD projects. A jury of experts from academia and industry will then award the prize to one of the nominees at the end of the day.

Industry Apéro (5 pm - 7 pm)

At the Apéro after the Symposium, participants will have an opportunity to meet with company representatives. Network with possible employers!

Dinner (starting at 7 pm)

After the symposium a dinner will take place where the participants can discuss in a relaxed atmosphere.
